Xmas is nearer :D
i won this random competition at symonds' gym, basically we were told that apparently we can eat 6000 calories on xmas day...so we had 2 burn as many calories as we cud on the treadmill/rowing machine etc before xmas.
and i won! and i was so chuffed, because I don't win things much XD
then i spoke to the gym person (whos name is also jenny, so it REALLY confused me) and asked her how many people took part in the 'christmas challenge.' aparently their was 6 people who took part. wahey. i was SO proud of myself, i did badminton club for 6 years and won 2 shields...im not a very sporty person...im more of a sit-at-home-or-sleep person :D
and i beat 5 people? that was annoying :/
not really much of an achievement tbh!
to top it off, although she gave me a wrapped up prezzy (NOT OPENING IT TIL XMAS!) i was told that i would have to have my picture taken.
baring in mind I've recently been putting up with a HORRIBLE flu, and i don't want to sound vain, but i had no make-up on :/ basically having icky day. AND THEN the photographer came, and asked me why i joined the gym, what motivated me to do it, what sports i do, what teams i am in - and she seemed shocked when i said i do radio and text processing XD
and i felt SO embarrassed, considering i didn't get into the badminton team so i couldn't brag about that!
SYMONDS IS SILLY
and another silly thing in winch is PIZZA HUT.
after the DISASTROUS (is that how you spell it?) visit before half term [basically we got HARRASSED for being students..and it was SUCH a bad meal) me and james booked another table (because he complained..good ol' james..and got a £10 voucherr!)
then ten mins later we got a call...and apparently they got the day wrong.
WHAT IS UP WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS?

Christmas = soon :D
Ok...so about the whole 'I am going to write in this everyday'..
it kinda failed :/
but considering its xmas...not a lot has been going on!
but i have made two discoveries.
The first is JUSTICE.
the band.....i havent had a lot of experience with the actual CONCEPT of justice..they are french apparently..
but they are SUCH a good electro band..
check out 'D.A.N.C.E' and 'Kids' and 'Time to Pretend'

well i actually discovered it a while ago... (I have 'Numb' - Linkin Park,covered by Jamelia and Chasing Cars- Snow Patrol, covered by Nat.Bedingfield on my phone atm)
I normally hate cover versions...because they are never as good as the original..
but the live lounge covers are AMAZING!

aparently, on the college radio, if we say something like I AM SITTING HERE DRINKING MY RELENTLESS. THIS IS 7RADIO
we MUST say 'other energy drinks are availiable at your nearest supermarket' which is really annoying. but apparently we can get SUED if we advertise :(

fairy nuff it is STUFFY in there...but coz im considering a career in media, its SO GOOD!
and its fun too!

when i started at symonds i was like EEK...im not gna make any friends!
and i was in mourning, because gemma (my bestie) went to peveril :'(
even though i do see her as much as i can!
but symonds is awesome :] and noones PAID me to say that!
everyone iv met is really nice, the subject content (im doing history, eng lit/lang, media and socio) is really interesting. and the PLACE is amazing :]
i dont want to start a bitching match between peveril and symonds.
but WINCHESTER IS BETTER THAN EASTLEIGH!
and i work there too :]

but the other superdrug in winch has closed down, and has been replaced my JACK WILLS...which i had never heard of until last summer :/ am i fashioably retarded? h&m and new look (AND PRIMARK) ftw, id say :]
but the day before jack wills opened, i heard SO MANY rumours about it (people were basically having a heartattack about it....symonds is kinda abercrombie&fitch and jack wills land!)
ALL CLOTHES ARE HALF PRICE ON THE DAY IT OPENS!
JACK WILLS IS FULL OF ALMOST NAKED GUYS!
FREE CLOTHES FOR THE FIRST 10 PEOPLE TO GO IN!
i was sad enough to rush to jack wills on the day it opened (my friend was CONVINCED it was gna have a sale)
the only sale we got was a free celebrations choc when we came in XD
fair enough the shop is LUSH! such amazing interior design, but the PRICES!
i know some people can afford £159 jumpers, or £59 hoodies. i am not one of them.
i reckon jack wills is going to INVADE symonds, and basically everyone (well, mainly all the upper class people!)
will be sheep :/
individuality will die.

What the BLOG?
WELCOME TO MY [NEW] BLOG!
Eek. I am new to this, IT'S SO WEIRD!
To be honest, one of my main talents is ranting about random stuff, and telling everyone about my life story (which can get a tad boring sometimes, as most of my mates know!)
but blogs? It's a new thing to me, so to start with I may start talking about random, irrelevant stuff, like celeb gossip, before I actually find anything interesting to say...
